Material and Methods On 154 patients in process of radical varicous phlebectomy, we applied a simple method, representing air-baloon compression along the extracted VSM. For the purpose , a thin rubber baloon with lenth -30 cm was used, stuffed wuth air under pressure 20-30 mm Hg and was put on thigh area exactly as per the VSM projection and was pressed by elastic bandage. Results This method allows optimum and atraumatic bandage along the woonded channel. The pressure in the baloon is adjustible. There was not a single case with post-operative haematoms observed.
