The article analyzes different methods of treatment of patients with post-burn esophageal strictures. The results of the treatment of patients with post-burn esophageal strictures by bougienage are analyzed. Nowadays bougienage is a basic management method for these patients. The better results were obtained after bougienage by the wire-guide. The results of the new methods of treatment of patients with post-burn cicatricial esophageal strictures by stenting are given. The advantages and disadvantages of shunting esophagocoloplasty are determined. New criteria for the treatment of patients with post-burn esophageal strictures are defined.
